About Generations

Like cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a distant land. Proverbs 25:25

Do you have a PROBLEM-ORIENTATION or a POSSIBILITY-ORIENTATION about life?  What do you see when you look ahead toward the future?   And what emotion fills your soul as a result?

Problem-Thinkers tend to imagine the worst.  Possibility-Thinkers tend to imagine the best.  They picture all the ways that God can work through situations for good.  They view problems as opportunities for God to work.

The pages of this brochure are not filled with problems, but possibilties.

Human Trafficking. Filthy Drinking Water. People in Tarentum and the South Side who are far from God. Third World Orphans. Tanzania’s Unreached. Haiti’s Poverty.

These are the possibilities that God has laid before us. The “good news from a distant land” is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The good news is we can change the way we think.  We can choose to view life through the lens of God’s power and promise.  When we do, the atmosphere of our whole world can change.

This website contains many avenues for you to be involved with possible solutions: participating with a missions trip, giving financially toward a project or faithfully praying for God’s Kingdom to be established on this earth.

My prayer for us, ‘May God fulfill these possibilities in our lives, through the ministry of Generations 2010, in Pittsburgh and throughout the globe!’
