David Buckley grew up as a young person attending Allison Park Church, and he and his wife, Karmi, have been serving as missionaries to the country of Hungary since 1999. Karmi is on the leadership team of Save Europe’s Children, which focuses on the growing epidemic of human trafficking that is so prevalent among European nations. 2010 Generations Campaign funds will purchase and renovate a safe house for young women in a secret location in Belgium.

Nicaragua Orphanage Go To Top

Eric Ferguson grew up attending APC as a young person. In 2003, Eric and his wife Shanna became missionaries to Nicaragua. Eric is the President of Metanoia Missions International, which encompasses various outreaches, church plants, schools, micro-businesses and orphanages.

2010 Generations funds will build a small store for a family to provide them with a means to earn a living and provide for their children.

Additionally, APC will help fund the construction of Phase 2 of the orphanage. The next phase includes dormitories and classrooms to house 30+ teenagers. Funding would cover the preparation of the land and laying the foundation of the orphanage’s next phase.

Sri Lanka Orphanage Go To Top

The Christmas 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami was the deadliest in recorded history. The economic effects of the disaster devastated the country of Sri Lanka. As a result, thousands of children live as orphans or displaced from their parents. APC will continue to send financial support to Dwight Dobson and our partnership orphanage in southern Sri Lanka through the 2010 Generations Campaign.

Mexico Orphanage Go To Top

Harold McKamish founded Caring Hearts Ministries in an effort to care for abandoned children and destitute people in the small border town of San Luis, Mexico. Many from Allison Park Church have felt inspired by God to share His love to the boys and girls who live in San Luis.

This year’s Generations Campaign will again provide financial resources to the orphans that are cared for by Harold and his team. Additionally, we will offer three short-term missions trips (February, April & October 2010) in partnership with Caring Hearts.
